Best hair: Emilio Pucci’s soft, 70’s style wave by Orlando Pita. Worn by a stellar model casting including Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls and Naomi Campbell (she had her own backstage dressing room).

Best make-up: The flash of silver, groomed brows and sandy toned lips at

I loved: Armani’s beauty lab, where make-up artist Linda Cantello mixed bespoke pigments to create new shades especially for the show. The prototypes were then whisked off to L’Oreal’s lab in Paris to be copied – they’ll be available to buy in-store in three months.

I saw: Coco Rocha backstage at interviewing make-up legend and MBE Pat McGrath before the show. Coco knows how to work a tuxedo…

I ate: Cake for breakfast. Again. As did most of the models backstage at Armani.

I overheard: Kendall Jenner telling the tanning team at Emilio Pucci that she was a big fan of St Tropez false tan. These are the three products used by pro tanner Nichola Joss, to give all the models gleaming, post-holiday skin.

My highlight: Watching the Pucci run-through before the show -  Joan Smalls and Mariacarla Boscono came out dancing.
