How, exactly? The world’s largest dance-fitness company- Zumba – launched ‘The Great Calorie Drive’ last Wednesday to encourage people to help end world hunger. ‘The Great Calorie Drive’ is urging everyone who works out to lose calories to help those less fortune around the world who suffer from hunger.

And not to worry- there’s no long forms to fill in- Zumba have created a free Fitness Mobile App that you can use to check in to your nearest Zumba class- and once you have shaken, shimmied and burned 750 calories they will be ‘donated’ to WFP (United nations World Food Programme) by Zumba Fitness.

Zumba is challenging the world to donate 2.6 billion calories which equates to 3.5 million meals. Think we can do it?

Here at ELLE, we think it’s the best excuse we’ve ever heard to finally try that Zumba class you’ve been shying away from.
