When Canadian comedian Nicole Arbour posted a 'Dear Fat People' video rant earlier this week, you couldn’t get away from her on the internet. Everybody had something to say about it, from TV personality Whitney Thore, to plus-size model Ashley Graham.
Model Chrissy Teigan is the latest person to weigh in on the discussion, and her reaction was absolutely on point. In an interview with People, she points out that any and all mention of the video drives traffic towards Arbour.
‘The worse thing about the Nicole Arbour thing is this has made her head even bigger somehow,’ she says incredulously. ‘On her Twitter and social media, she is living for this moment.’
Teigen continues: ‘Everybody is on her page now. We’ve just given her this platform to feel like her opinion does matter, so no matter if we’re talking negatively about it or positively, she’s winning.’
Look out for the scathing remark she makes right at the end of the video: ‘Now she [Arbour] thinks she’s being 'silenced' too. That’s the new great part'.
