Introududing 20 year-old Tanzanian model Henrieth Paul, the latest global spokesmodel for Maybelline, alongside Gigi Hadid and Jourdan Dunn.

Herieth has been in the model game for a solid five years and we've been watching her closely throughout her journey.

She won our hearts during what we consider to be her breakout season, SS16, on the catwalks of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Carolina Herrera, Balmain, Stella McCartney and Proenza Schouler.

Her latest gig is a major leap in the right direction in terms of diversity in the beauty industry, as we rarely see a black woman with natural afro hair represented in beauty campaigns.

When asked in a recent interview about diverstity on the runway, Herieth said she feels it has come a long way but there is still some work to be done.

"When I first started modeling in 2011, there were very few darker-skinned girls. Now I see girls from all over the world...I feel like it's getting better—we're not there yet—but I see a change."

But she's making an impact in more ways that one as she has previously expressed her intention to one day build a school.

"When I grew up in Tanzania, I went to school with kids who were blind and deaf. There wasn't a different class or teacher for them, so they didn't learn anything. I'm hoping to organize a school to train teachers to help children with disabilities. It's my future goal. I want to move back to Tanzania and do that eventually," she has said in the past.

She's determined to make a difference both on and off the runway, and we can't wait to see her career blossom.
