Why should you spend £300 on a Perfume?

And what does it smell like anyway?

Before you balk, consider how much you're willing to drop on a key piece from your favourite designer collection. £500? £1000? If it was Alexander McQueen you might even go up a little bit. So if you had to invest £285 in a future classic piece of McQueen that you will wear everyday, it makes more sense, right?

McQueen Parfum pays homage to the origination of the brand, with a somewhat vintage spirit, and some real luxury, 'proper' perfume ingredients ike Sambac Jasmine, Tuberose and Ylang Ylang. But this is McQueen so you need a twist in the form of pink pepper and vetiver. We've just justified about two thirds of the price tag there.

Creative Director Sarah Burton’s vision is present in the bottle design, along with an ode to Alexander himself with the iconic feather design and romanitcally dark glass. This is pure McQueen, you see, so we're nearly up to full justification. If you're still wondering whether you should invest, let us help you with some more pro's.

You will wear it every day. Cost to wear ratio is blown out of the water here.

Supermodel Maartje Verhoef is the face of the fragrance and we always want what she's having

It smells like nothing else, top points for originality

Once it's gone the bottle is a collectors item in its own right

It's a Parfum, which means it is intense so you only need a little at a time, which means it'll last forever (pretty much)

You won't need to speand thousands of pounds on a McQueen fashion item anymore since you now have a bonafide piece of McQueen.
