As someone whose skin is less than perfect I'm always in awe of anyone who can pull off going make-up less.
So when I got backstage at and saw a blank face chart - make-up artist Sally Branka used only MAC Care Blend Oils and BB Cream on the models - I needed to know just how to fake it.

'I'm massaging the oil into skin, to work the lymph drainage and then using the BB Cream which gives a natural, rather than glossy, finish' she told me.
But what about blemishes and redness?

'To cover I'm using a brush to dapple MAC Full Coverage onto blemishes. I like this brush, it's not too precise and doesn't overload the blemish with too much product, instead it disperses it, blurring out any spots'.
Backstage I bumped into another make-up artist Cher Webb, who shared the contents of her 'perfect skin kit' with me...

Note that little pot - it's MAC Pro Texture in Matte ( it also comes in shine) and it will turn any glossy lip or eye product matte. Just like magic!
