At London Fashion Week Julien Macdonald hairstylist Martin Cullen created a grungy, punky hairstyle that looks real (read: you don't need a hairdresser). Hmm, check back later as I'll be trying the hairstyle for myself in our new #trialatrend series, to see if it's really that easy.
Martin used a cocktail L'Oreal Paris Studio Architect Shine Wax and Studio Matt & Messy Shine-free Salt Spray to get that beachy, grimy texture. He then twisted the hair into a tradition chignon but left the ends loose. A scrunch of the hair and a loosening of tendrils at the front gave that undone feel.
