Step 1: Using Ciate's Nail Polish in Cream Soda, £9, (a soft dove grey), I painted all Rita's nails.

Step 2: Next, using a thin striping brush, I painted accents along the nail using OPI's Nail Lacquer in Alpine Snow, £11 (a stark white). Using a mix of curves and straight lines will give your nail art a much more interesting look, just like Rita's.

Step 3: I ALWAYS top off any manicure with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, £11 ... It is essential!!

Step 4: Once you're happy with the foundation, use flat-backed Swarovski crystals (from Crystal Parade) fixed to the nail using Seche Vite (which works like glue) to highlight the nails and add dimension.

Et voila ... Rita Ora's nails.
