Anne Hathaway goes blonde for MET Ball

'It's temporary' says the actress

Anne Hathaway rocked up at the MET Ball in possibly the most punk look of the night. Or at least the one that took most effort. The star had let the Punk: Chaos to Couture theme go to her head and inspired by Blondie singer Debbie Harry bleached her hair peroxide blonde.
But don't get too used to Hathaway's new look, 'it's temporary,' she told reporters on the red carpet. 'But as soon as I did it, I thought I didn't want it to be temporary any longer. I know I have to dye it back for my work.'
To get the punk-inspired quiffed style Hathaway's stylist Sascha Breuer applied a golf ball sized amount of Wella Professionals Extra Volume Mousse to her damp hair. Using his fingers he rough-dryed her hair sweeping the longer hair up and back and pulling the sides tightly back. Once the star's hair was dry he used Wella Professionals Bold Move styling paste, and ran his fingers through the mid length and ends for a mussed- up texture. He finished with a mist of Well Professionals Stay Firm Finishing Spray.
