If the words "pretty", "youthful" and "romantic" were how Eugene Soulieman described the hair backstage at Issey Miyake, this was one style that not only talked the talk - but walked a bouncy walk too.

"I took inspiration from the weave of one of the fabrics in the main collection that comes with a bit of a spring as the girls head down the catwalk. We replicated this feeling, adding a sense of buoyancy to the hair," said Souleiman.

Prepping dry hair with Wella Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray, he pulled it back into a pony on the bone at the back of the head. The tail was braided tightly and clamped between a hot iron then left to cool and set. Having released the hair, it was Mason Pearsons to the ready as he lightly brushed the tail through in light, floaty movements to fill it with air and create a look that went out on the runway with a boing.
