Kelly Osbournes Emmy manicure cost a staggering $250,000. Thought that was bit over budget? Us too! Luckily Nails Inc have launched the £20 alternative.
Today I went along to the new Paint Shop in Selfridges Oxford Street to have a very special manicure, by a very special manicurist. Lisa Logan has filed and polished the nails of the fab and famous including Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Katy Perry and Madonna. Nails Inc flew her in from New York especially for the launch of their new Bling It On Rocks nail set.
The end result? An eye catching touch of glitter for the Christmas season.
The set includes a base coat, top coat, Black Taxi Polish and two glitter pots in black and silver. I found that the overall finish of the nail was more intense and striking than ordinary glitter polishes. This was because Lisa painted my nail black before dipping it into the glitter and brushing away the excess. A final slick of top coat seals in the glitter to give a gel-like finish. Voila, a quarter million dollar nails for just £20.
