'It's an eye extravaganza' says MAC Director of Make-up Artistry Terry Barber. In yet another brilliantly wacky make-up reference Terry told me the look was 'Barbarella lands a space ship and steps out wearing Italian clothes'.
The eye was a trio of details- elongated violet lines seeping up and out, White highlight on the inner corner of the eye and look-at-me false lashes.
Over in hair the look was very graphic - a sleek ponytail loaded with plenty of high-gloss Tigi shine spray.
With so many shows referencing a sixties' eye view of the future I'm putting money on the retro-modern trend being key next season. Now where's my spaceship...?
