After yesterday's mad as a box of frogs references, (baby Bjork and Hollie Hobby dolls) day three of LFW buttoned up and took a far more prim approach to beauty.

As bleary-eyed models fell upon a Parisian spread of bread, cheese, tomatoes, ham and coffee so strong it could blow your bleached brows off, (in a caffetiere no less) the Margaret Howell woman was dressed in her crispest of white shirts for a brisk walk along the Champs Elysees. She was fresh, she was neat - yet came with a laissez faire attitude only a French woman can pull off.

Diffusing Bumble and Bumble Prep Spray into wet hair, Neil Moodie brushed it through before adding a deep side parting. A swift braid created at the back was whirled around into a bun-like shape on the nape for a "flat, plaited chignon that felt a little bit tomboyish".

Blowing the front out with a dryer, Moodie added a curtained sweep with flyaways over the forehead.

And the piece de resistance? A jaunty, Parisian hat. Of course.
