A two-tone lip, a triple-layered nail and a braidy, mussed-up hair vibe. So spoilt for choice were we by Holly Fulton's beauty full house that our eyes didn't know where to look first.

It may have been a cool autumnal day in London but make up artist Andrew Gallimore took us straight to an L.A. skate park. With a cool, Californian fifties vibe in mind, Gallimore created "sun toasted" skin using MAC's Select Cover Up Concealer under eyes and on the lids, before using felt tips pens (yes, really) to dot freckles over the nose.

Applying Embrace Me lip pencil to the outside edge of the mouth, he added a mixture made in heaven of Lip Mix in Fuchsia, White and Orange to the centre.

This uber cool girl may have been practising her kickflips and ollies in the L.A sun all morning, but she had no intention of letting her lip look slide.

What was a little rougher round the edges was her hair. With her wheels beneath her feet and the Californian breeze in her hair, she sported a style with a small braid at the front and a carefree texture at the back.

Using L'Oreal Paris Studio Matt and Messy shine spray, stylist Shon diffused hair before adding a messy, gathered tail at the back and pinning the end with a bullseye target badge from the main collection.

Which left Jenni Draper to keep this look bang on target by topping nails with a layer of Mavala Lemon Cream followed by handpainted circles of Lagoon bluey-green and Brilliant White.

Needless to say, we left the show with one hell of a Californian crush.
