As the rest of New York woke up to smell the coffee at their Sunday brunch tables, we were already on our second show at . And oh boy, was this a beautiful look worth being up for.

Reinventing the classic summertime pastel, Tom Pecheux created a "luxurious, very transparent make-up that was like the girls had just jumped in water".

The showstoppers of the look were the new Estee Lauder creamy eye shadows in Steel and Extreme Emerald that were blended over lids for a romantic, watery effect.

A pop of Pink Zinc cream shadow on the centre of the eyelid and golden-hued Halo on the lips was all is took to complete Pecheux's illusion of "light bouncing off the surface of a lake at sunset".

Championing Phyto Volume Mousse, Orlando Pita jumped on the "dual textured hair" SS13 emerging trend bandwagon, finger combing it through mid-lengths and ends before adding a smooth side part at the top and textured movement at the back to complete SS13's venture into sub-aqua territory.
