This month Revlon has launched a new line of nail enamels called Colourstay. Excitingly it's the first time the brand has launched a new polish formula since founder Charles Revson launched the brand with a nail enamel way back in 1932.

According to Revlon it's the closest thing you will get to a gel manicure without the need for an LED lamp. The new polishes contain high molecular weight polymers that ensure great coverage in just one coat and a long-lasting chip-free mani - a whopping 11 days, in fact.

The team at Revlon called on photographer Solve Sundsbo to shoot the campaign for ColourStay. Having shot fashion campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Gucci, Hermès and Armani he brought a fashion eye to the shots. Keeping with the fashion-y theme the brilliant red polish (pictured) is fittingly called Runway Red.

Revlon ColourStay, £7.99, comes in 28 shades and is available at selected Boots stores nationwide.
