MAC is a heavy hitter in the world of make-up. It has a huge presence backstage at fashion week and its products are staples in most make-up artist's kits. So it's always been a wonder why nail lacquers have never featured permanently? Polishes often appear in the limited edition collections that launch, but they're always a sell-out.
Luckily, we can wonder no more because MAC has created a permanent line of 31 colours in three different finishes - cream, frost and pearl. There is a shade to suit every taste and knowing MAC and how trend-focused it is we can no doubt expect more colours to be added in future. Right now I love Fiestaware, a creamy coral, that will take me through the rest of the summer but come autumn (sadly it's not that far away) I'll be wearing Spirit of Truth, a navy blue which is a hot colour for new season nails, and Coffee Break, a brilliant taupe.
