Headmasters is one of my favourite hair salon chains. Relatively small, it's salons are mostly found in and around the London/Surrey area with some salons in cities like Brighton and Reading. Whether you live near a Headmasters or not, the brand will soon be coming to a town near you. It has launched two affordable product ranges into Tesco - Colour Brilliance and Big Glam Hair.

What's great about Headmasters is that the Artistic Team and salon staff are big on trends, but their main aim is to ensure they are both attainable and wearable for us. And to get the catwalk looks, you need great products. The products have been seven years in the making and have been tested extensively by the salon teams and on loyal customers.

From the Colour Brilliance range, Fashion Assistant Alice Watt has been using the Headmasters Salon Experts Brunette Gloss Shampoo and Conditioner, both £4.49, which she and her now super shiny hair are hooked on. From the same collection I've been roadtesting the Headmasters Salon Experts Colour Brilliance Super Smooth Blow Dry Cream (bit of a mouthful I know), £4.99, which leaves my hair smooth and frizz-free - it usually ends up a bit frazzled if I dry it 100% so I was pleased.

According to Headmasters 48% of UK women want their hair to look thicker and fuller which is why the other range focuses on getting big glam hair at home. The Headmasters Salon Experts Big Glam Hair Root Boost Mousse, £4.99, is a winner.
