Run 0-5Km with ELLE and Nike

Here at ELLE we're very excited to announce the launch of our brand new Running Club. Yes, you heard us right. Come 2013, our resolution is to get fit – and we're inviting you to join us.

In the February issue of ELLE, on sale January 2nd, we've teamed up with Nike Master Trainer Sonja Moses to get even the most terrified keep-fitters running 5Km in just six weeks (yes, really).

And if that's not enough, we're also launching a brand new running channel at – going live on January 2nd as well.

The brand new area of the site will feature our Do It blog, where seven ELLE team members, including Editor in Chief Lorraine Candy, will be following the plan and blogging their progress. Some have never even been jogging before, others are returning runners but whatever our running CV we're all in this together!

You will also find in our See It section five handy videos from Nike Master Trainer Sonja Moses. Yes, your virtual trainer will take you through everything you need to know – from running basics and warm ups and cool downs to brilliant leg and core strength exercises to help you run better.

But we also want to hear from you. We want you to share your 0-5Km running experience with us. Tweet pictures, ask running questions to ELLE or Moses, or simply share your thoughts on running and the 0-5Km plan with us @ELLEUKrunning and we'll publish the best in our new Share It section.

The new channel will also include daily running and fitness news updates, plus later we'll be giving you a diet plan specifically to improve your running as well as ELLE's pick of the best kit for those of you who decide running could be for you in the long term.
