We're in Cornwall at Port Eliot festival. Bumble and bumble’s Neil Moodie yesterday showed us how to create one of his (and now ours!) favourite plaits: the Indian Braid.

“The best thing about this braid,” says Moodie, “is that if your hair is long you won’t lose any of the length.”

Moodie began with fairly straight, long and fine hair. He took a very thin piece from the centre of the scalp and two thin pieces from each side of the head. He joined the three thin sections and began a tradition plait, A little further down he pulled in another two thin sections from the sides and repeated.

Once he had worked in five pieces from the side of the head, he sealed with a clear elastic and lightly misted the thin centre plait with a peach Bumble and bumble hair spray. Job done! A look we will definitely be attempting ourselves.
