's most recent ad campaigns featured Marilyn Monroe and Brad Pitt – so when it came to choosing a new face, the pressure most definitely was on. Who could possibly live up to such lofty predecessors?

Step forward Gisele Bündchen.

The Brazilian supermodel was chosen for her ‘natural beauty and modern femininity’ and, as the current face of the Chanel Les Beiges make-up range, is certainly no stranger to the brand.

Also on board is The Great Gatsby director Baz Luhrmann, who will be in the director's seat a decade on from directing Chanel's 2004 short film campaign with Nicole Kidman.
