Working in London you (naively) come to think you know the city inside out. But, then you discover something as wonderful and unexpected as an authentic art deco salon under one of the Capitals busiest shopping zones, Regent Street. Hidden away beneath the old Austin Reed store (now the new Superdry store) is a spa that was built back in 1929 - it was originally a barber-shop but over the years it has been neglected and abused.

Fast-forward 80 odd years and in steps Tommy Guns and Steven Ross who have lovingly (and painstakingly) restored the salon to it’s former glory – original art deco serpent style lighting and authentic thirties barber chairs are just the beginning. Original features, classic barber services and niche products sit nicely against Tommy Gun’s blow-out bar, Lash Perfect’s lash and brow services and Sophy Robson’s first Nail Porn nail art bar. You have to see this place to believe it.
