Last week I met with make-up artist Jemma Kidd to find out what the team has been working on – namely masterclass@HOME (nationwide beauty workshops for you and your friends) and fabulous new products like my favourite Bio-Mineral Essentials Kit, £26, a compact palette containing blusher, eyeshadows and a FULL SIZE lipstick.

But what really excited me was Jemma’s new charity VisionFund which has linked up with the sight saving charity Orbis on the project – one product, one vision. Trachoma, a highly contagious bacterial infection that can cause loss of sight, is rife in Ethiopia because treatment is too expensive, but it’s Jemma’s aim to eliminate it for good. So why Trachoma? ‘Sight for anyone, but especially for me as a make-up artist, is hugely important’ Jemma told me. You can help by either donating direct to the charity online here or by shopping - every product bought or masterclass@HOME booked, will see £1.25 facilitate the distribution of antibiotics – enough to treat a family of five for a year. So really the slogan should be one product, five visions.
