Forget the subtle, sunkissed, ombre look. The trend for grown-out colour is getting an edgy revamp if Rihanna and Marinas new hairstyles are anything to go by.
Both have stepped out with severe dark roots; we spotted Rihanna out last week with a diamondshape to her regrowth, signifying this was a deliberate move. While Marina (of Marina and the Diamonds) has released a preview of her new video for single Primadonna (see below) out April and in it she wears her hair in a series of retro hairstyles with so much volume that in some shots her roots look like a hair band.
