There isn't a show on the schedule that's guaranteed to get me dreaming of prettifying my make-up routine and softening my hair style, more than Valentino - and this season didn't disappoint. As ever Pat McGrath's model army were resplendent with velvety complexions, shimmering highlights and enough lashes to make Bambi jealous (courtesy of Max Factor's 24 hour false lash effect mascara), but it was Guido's turn on hair that had me in a real beauty spin. Twisted and coiled back into a low V shape, hair was soft and wispy in texture with just enough tendrils to frame faces beautifully - think Victoriana but executed in a modern, fresh manner (hair was kept flat at the crown so as not to appear too retro) with that Guido and his team have down pat.
