Key make-up artist Yadim put it best when he described the look as 'a gorgeous young girl goes to visit her boyfriend uptown then walks home the next morning, downtown in the rain - she's glamorous but a little destroyed'. How that translated was chic, blocky liner pencilled on at the outer corners of eyes and deep lips, painted on in a precise, slick fashion.

Hair was similarly chic meets cool, as Anthony Turner for TIGI created elegant chignons embellished with light daubs of gel to mimic splashes of rain. We loved.
