Monochromatic eyes with a blend of matte greys and blacks were the order of the day at Costume National with make-up artist Sally Branka creating an 80s winged shape that circled eyes and washed up through to brows. 'The shape is really pushed out and accentuated for strength, it's kind of like a Debbie Harry feel but not quite so retro'. And to avoid a literal reference colour was banished from everywhere else too, with just a little highlight patted on to cheekbones. To finish the look hair stylist Paul Hanlon worked wet look gel through the tops of models' heads to create a boxy, boyish shape. A strong start for this Sunday morning.
