Chanel is getting its glitz on and opening a boutique in Las Vegas. While it’s definitely not as chic as Chanel's home Paris, there’s plenty of money to be made there. I headed to Vegas last year and it's such a strange place, a real mix of rich and poor, chic and gaudy. See a holiday snap of mine, complete with a picture of the Domo toy I won (he's checking out a Cirque show, which everyone should do in Vegas).

As part of the launch Chanel has created an exclusive four-piece limited edition line including a Las Vegas Exclusive Creation Lucky Stripes Iridescent Powder for eyes and cheeks, £48 (love), as well as a Le Vernis in Gold Fingers, £17.50, lip definer in Vegas Gold and a Rouge Coco Shine lip gloss in Brilliant, £23.

If you're going to buy anything from the collection, make sure you channel glamorous and seasoned hustler Ginger McKenna, Sharon Stone's character in Casino, while doing so.

If you can't get to Vegas to visit the Chanel boutique (that's most of us then) don't worry, the collection will be available in Chanel boutiques, Harrods, Selfridges (London and Manchester Exchange), House of Fraser Glasgow and Fenwick Newcastle from February 24.
