You know in winter when your complexion lacks warmth and just looks a bit sallow and lacklustre? Well this a/w season make-up artists backstage at shows like Felder Felder, Vivienne Westwood Red Label and Topshop Unique - all known for more outlandish looks - have been embracing paired back make-up and warm caramel tones on the skin; perfect for a mid-winter pick-me-up.
Georgina Graham used MAC Sculpting Creams in Accentuate and Pure Sculpture, along with lipstick in French Nougat to create a 'blonde' tonal look at Felder Felder (read more here).
At Vivienne Westwood Red Label Val Garland blended smudgy caramel cream colours with her fingers onto the skin before layering over with foundation to give the skin 'dimension'. She used MAC Lip Pencil in Mahogany on the lips to give them warmth.
While at Topshop Unique skin was given sheen and colour with Topshop Skin Glow and Cheeks in Ray. Make-up artist Hannah Murray then applied Lips in Nevada (the perfect nude) and smudged the eyes with plenty of black kohl.
