This season ponytails are being worn low at the nape of the neck with volume at the crown and a softly dishevelled finish. Seen at House of Holland (pictured below, top), Paul Smith (pictured above) and Matthew Williamson (pictured bottom) it's easy to recreate and universally flattering. All you need is to do is tong hair that is naturally straight to give movement (not curl) then back comb the crown area. If back combing isn't a skill you possess use Toni & Guy Casual Sculpting Powder, £7.19, and massage into your roots for instant height. Pull back into an elastic at the nape of your neck and gently massage your roots for added lift and a dishevelled finish. Lightly mist with Moroccanoil hairspray, £16.65, it smells amazing and will give your hairstyle a light hold.
