If your eyeshadow doesn't last the course of the day (or night) like you do, forget pricey eyeshadow primers and use an eyeliner pencil instead. 'Liquid primers can dilute the colour of your eyeshadow, choose an eye pencil in a similar colour to your chosen shade,' said make-up artist Lan Nguyen who was working with The Body Shop make-up backstage at Spijkers en Spijkers (look pictured above). 'Apply the liner all over the lid before layering on your eyeshadow, this will make the colour much more dense and ensure it stays in place for longer'. Genius.
