EBT fave Val Garland describes this look as "From Russia With Love with a frost bitten runner's flush". Healthy, rosy cheeks were pivotal to this look. Garland created an "invisble liner" which she explained as drawing in the liner and then wiping it away, leaving only a faint, thin line. Lips were matte with L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caress lipstick, a dusty rose (Val's favourite for the season) and then powdered down with a pink, powder blush. Skin was primed with L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique BB Cream, which starts off a pale grey but blends in and adapts to the skin tone and highlightes were added with Lumie Magique Pure Light Primer. L'Oreal Paris Glam Shine Fresh in 600 Aqua Curacao was patted around the temples for a Film Noir touch

Hair was an elaborate affair thanks to L'Oreal Professionnel Hair Director Malcolm Edwards. Hair was prepped with L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Play Ball Texture Tonic, split in to the sections at the back and looped and knotted. It looks complicated because it is, this is a look best left to the pros. The front section of hair was flattened off and pulled back neatly to meet at the nape of the neck, in Malcolm's words, "it's clean around the perimeter". All was set with a misting of L'Oreal Professionnel Infinium Hairspray.

We love this nail colour - it's L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Nail polish in Opera Ballerina. Just one coat was applied to keep the shade pale and nails were rounded to match the curve of fingertips.
