This morning was spent with the LOréal Paris press team for the launch of their new False Lash Telescopic Mascara, £10.99, SuperLiner Gel Intenza, £8.99 and SuperLiner Perfect Slim, £6.49 (all out February). L'Oréal Paris celebrity make-up artist Lisa Laudat was on hand to demonstrate the looks she created on Cheryl for the ad campaigns to run with the new launches, so if youre a Cheryl fan (and who isnt?) then read on
According to Lisa, Cheryl doesnt follow trends, Cheryl wants to feel pretty but what I do depends on how she is feeling that day. Sometimes it's bright lips or something girly like a slick of gloss, but whatever look we create she always likes to make the most of her eyes.
One trick that Lisa swears by is contouring Cheryl's cheeks, I use LOréal Paris Glam Bronze Duo in the hollows to accentuate her cheekbones. The easiest way to apply it is to suck in your cheeks, apply with a brush and then blend, blend, blend so youre not left with any harsh lines.
And colour? I love to use bronzes, browns, golds and reds on Cheryl. She looks her best after a couple of days in the sun (like most people) so I try to recreate that with colour.
