Lancome is bringing us a little new season cheer early with the launch of Aaron de May's spring collection on January 1. The founder of Lancome, Armand Petitje, and his wife Nelly loved their rose garden at the family home of Les Vallieres on the outskirts of Paris. Aaron has taken inspiration from this, masterminding 'Roseraie des Delices' a collection that fuses delicate pastel rose hues with retro shades inspired by macaroons and barley sugars.

Perfectly pretty and a welcome addition to your make-up bag on a dull January day. The collection includes a blush, £32.50, two eyeshadow palettes, £33 each, three lipsticks, £23.50 each, and three lip glosses, £18 each. My favourites have to be the lipstick in 316 Cotton Candy and the La Roserie Blush; roll on 2012!
