A while back I told you about the ingenious feather hair extensions from Feather Ray. While they are easy enough to apply yourself (even I can do it and I'm all fingers and thumbs), you can now head to Topshop Oxford Circus and have them applied for you.
The pop-up is stocked with every possible colour and style of feather and cost £5 each (£7 for any 12" plus) or £14 for three. I chose feathers in hues that complimented my own red hair (think cream, russet and brown) but you can go for any shade - the striking rainbow brights like pink or green are particularly fun. The feathers can be washed and styled just like normal hair (you can even straighten or curl them) and mine lasted five weeks before I took them out because I was having my hair coloured. If it wasn't for that your guess is as good as mine as to how long they would have lasted, but I'd say a good few months.
Feather Ray pops up in Topshop Oxford Circus on Thursday through to Saturday, 11am - 8pm and Sunday 12 noon - 6pm.
