Nostalgia is having a moment in beauty. Lipcote (the lipstick topcoat that launched in the fifties) is celebrating its 50th anniversary and to mark the occasion the brand has teamed up with artist Dora to redesign the packaging and have added a new vanilla scent to the gloss. The fan base has had an update too and the cult product has moved on from protecting the scarlet pouts of the likes of Marilyn Monroe to accompanying Rihanna on tour.

Coca-Cola are now following on from their collaboration with Nails.inc and taking a further foray in to beauty with their new lip balm collection. They come in Original Coke, Cherry Coke and Vanilla Coke. Our favourites are the Original Coke Lip Refresh and Cherry Coke Lip Pop (both pictured). The Cherry Coke flavour smells exactly like our favourite childhood treat and leaves a sheer pink tint to lips. But what makes them both especially loveable is the retro forties style packaging.

Both are available nationwide
