Calling all perfume fans: The man who bought Kate Middleton her wedding perfume and counts Rihanna and Angelina Jolie as fans, Michael Boadi, is launching the world's largest independent perfumery, The Illuminum Fragrance Lounge.

'I want[ed] to create an oasis of fragrance in the heart of the city,' says Boadi, 'there will be no rushing at The Fragrance Lounge, you can sit and enjoy an espresso or a glass of champagne and take your time.'

The town house is divided into four rooms. One will house the existing Classic Perfume Collection (from which Kate chose Gardenia Petals, £70, for her big day) while the other three will be inhabited by new collections: Haute Perfume, 16 new scents using rare ingredients like Indian Oud and Black Saffron, starting from £175; Interior Fragrance, chic black candles and stylish gadgets that disperse fragrance around your home and car; and last Illuminum Systhesis, where Michael Boadi can be booked to create a bespoke scent just for you - that's if you have £7500 to spare.

The Illuminum Fragrance Lounge opens this coming Monday at 41/42 Dover Street.
