This week is a momentous one as far as the world of hairdressing is concerned as it marks the start of ELLE fave George Northwood's residency at King of Colour Josh Wood's Atelier. Not only is George responsible for most of EBT's cuts he also tends to Alexa Chung and recent cover girl Rose H-W. Add to that Josh Wood's credentials as the go-to colourist for the entire fashion world, and well it's a match made in hair heaven. The Atelier itself looks luxe beyond luxe - think art installations, slick interiors, in-salon ipad playlists and personal keys for regular customers (we plan on getting one of those, that's for sure), not to mention great coffee and a homemade smoothie created by Josh and packed full of hair-loving goodies. Less like a traditional salon then and more like a home from home.
If like us, you are chomping at the bit to get down there, I'd say do it now before the rest of the UK descends en masse...
