This Sunday (16th October) Zumba creator Beto Perez is hosting a mass Zumbathon at London’s Alexandra Palace for 3,500 people. It’s part of Zumba Fitness’ Party in Pink campaign and will raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Cure Cancer @ UCLH and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Global Promise Fund. And to really get the party going, Wyclef will perform his new single ‘Historia’ at the event – it’s the theme of the Party in Pink campaign and 10% of every iTunes download of the track will be donated to Susan G. Komen and its global non-profit partners.

Tickets cost £30 with all proceeds donated to the charities. Other Zumbathon charity events will be held throughout the month around the country with at least 75% of tickets sales and 30% of Zumba clothing sales donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Given such great events, we fully expect to see you all on Sunday, getting down to some Latin music, burning some calories and supporting some very worthwhile charities doing their best to tackle breast cancer.
