MAC Make up artist Lucia Pica was inspired by the 90’s grunge for this morning’s show - think youthful, ethereal and fresh as opposed to Kurt Cobain street grunge though. To achieve this effect she created a balmy, dewy base and teamed it with peachy cheeks and eyes. Subtle touches like faint freckles on the cheeks (drawn on with an eyebrow pencil) added a pretty finish. Brows were the prominent feature here though, enhanced by MAC’s brow pencil (in Fling or Lingering) to create a bold, pronounced look and set with powder. Mascara was banished in favour of clean, combed lashes.

Over on hair Charles Worthington’s creative director Marc Trinder created a polished grunge look that he described as ‘1950's Balenciaga meets Kurt Cobain when Kate Moss was still with Johnny Depp’. The Strong silhouettes Marc created mimic-ed slept on hair that still retained some nostalgia for the night before. In true rebellious grunge spirit, one model sported striking neon pink hair colour to accent the neon brights used in Roksanda’s collection.
