Mary Katrantzou has become renowned for her prints and this season her collection was presented against the backdrop of the old Eurostar platform in London's Waterloo station with a meadow of flowers along the catwalk.
But back to the make-up, the colourful prints of nature scenes and man-made objects in the collection translated into a rainbow of metallic lip colours, eight in total, from violet to hot pink to lime green.
Pantene hair stylist Sam McKnight first washed hair to achieve a fresh, baby soft look and pulled into a low ponytail with his fingers - the thinking here was not to allow any hair to cover the prints on the clothes. A fine 'veil' of whispy strands was stretched across the face to soften the look.
