Alice Temperley was inspired by Grace Kelly and the movie High Society for her SS12 collection and, just as she is known to sport one herself, she was certain that her girls should have a red lip. Revlon make-up artist Gucci Westman added a note of interest to the red pout with a glossy finish which she created by missing together two Revlon lipsticks (Candy Apple and True Red) and added a gloss (Fire Gloss). The result was a stark but sophisticated colour against a creamy demi-matte skin. On hand was Revlon's latest foundation, Photo Ready Mousse Foundation (out April 2012) and a US rose tone highlighter from the Age-Defense range (one to stock up on when in the US).
Wella's Panos went for a slick and fresh pony to contrast against the collection. He applied Velvet Amplifier to damp hair, blast dried and then gathered it tightly towards the back of the head before securing with elastic. He then smoothed fly-aways with Wella Professionals Super Set and a pin-tail comb and concealed the elastic with the models own hair.
