We encountered a mirage at Mark Fast - sunset hues and earthy tones were blended over lids by the expert hands of Maybelline's Sharon Dowsett. Eyes were rimmed in kohl ("as they did in the desert to keep insects at bay" explains Dowsett) and cheeks were sculpted with sun-baked bronzes.
TIGI hair stylist James Pecis took inspiration from the 20's and back-combed hair to within an inch of it's life and tucked under to create a faux bob. Like we saw at Topshop, gold leaf was patted on to hair to add a modern touch to the style.
