The hair at Paul Smith was quietly ingenious. From an outsiders eye it looked like pretty, beachy tresses. Each model's hair texture was played up rather than fought against using Moroccanoil Styling Cream used on dry hair. The overall look was fine and piecey thanks to the hidden, faux undercut; hair underneath was plaited and gripped to the scalp, which team ELLE would happily show off with a ponytail or topknot - it looked that cool.

Make-up was colourless (we begrudgingly spy a trend) - skin was dewy thanks to MAC Face and Body foundation, Shine Mixing Medium on the eyelids and MAC's new Tendertones, a jelly-like gloss that is being road tested backstage this season, to lightly stain lips and cheeks.
