Backstage at Jonathan Saunders, through the magic of hair and make-up we were transported to the austere times and style of 1950s Miami. Housewives back then were perfectly polished and a little uptight. This was portrayed through the sleek pony, with a severe side parting created by Paul Hanlon for Fekkai using Advanced Full Blown Styling Whip and Advanced Sheer Hold Hairspray. An 'eerily windswept' finish gave the hairstyle life, while a single kirby grip at the front (taming the loose tendrils) nodded to the character's need to strive for perfection.

Make-up referenced a woman 'slightly deranged from too much Valium' with Lucia Pieroni for MAC giving the models pale skin and even paler lips (). Perfection was found in her strict liner. 'She may be a little mad, but she still wears fabulous clothes,' added Lucia.
