If you saw our pictures from the held at the Palace of Versailles earlier this week you'll have spotted that some of the models had interlocking c's on their cheeks. Despite initial thoughts that the logo was drawn on my global creative director for Chanel Make-up Peter Phillips and his team, they are in fact velvet stick-ons. Exciting, non?

Apparently these designer 'beauty spots' (an ode to Versailles former resident Marie Antoinette) will be available to buy as part of a make-up set called Collection Versailles de Chanel which along with the interlocking c's will include a highlighter and pink eyeshadow (we're hoping it’s the same vibrant hue the models walked in).

There's no date set for the launch as yet, but we'll keep you posted.

Updated 13:45 16 May 2012: The Chanel press office has since told us that the rumour is not true and that the beauty spots will not be available to buy. We feel a petition coming on...
