Moving house is possibly one of the most stressful things I can think of and being knee-deep in that particular predicament right now, I have found myself desperately reaching out for something to quash the anxiety. On rotation on my desk currently, for inhalation and deep breathing purposes are Darphin’s dreamy (that’s not in the name but frankly, it should be) 8-Flower Nectar and Liz Earle Bliss Vital Oil. Both are formulated with the heady yet soothing scent of jasmine and fortifying ylang ylang – a known stress-buster. One whiff of either of these is enough to calm me down after any kind of convo with an estate agent.

Then there’s my old faithful, Aromatherapy Associates Relax Deep oil which does exactly what it says on the tin and promises a sleep so deep and heavy I need a forklift truck to get me out of bed. As if that weren’t enough AA are opening their very first stand-alone store in London in October and will be offering custom blends with co-founder Geraldine Howard. Although I’m hoping my house move nightmare will be over by then, I’m sort of tempted to string it out a bit longer...
