House of Fraser has two exclusive fragrances that are perfect for summer days and nights.

First up, the store's own Apothecary brand now has an eau de toilette, £25 for 100ml. It's a light blend of fruity top notes - peach, bergamot and melon, with bright clean florals - hyacinth and freesia. It smells fresh and light - conjuring up thoughts of the beach - perfect for summer days.

Next, make-up artist Mary Greenwell's Plum eau de parfum caught my eye. It's not a new juice, but there is a new 7.5ml, £25 (the perfect clutch size). I absolutely adore it and have been wearing it ever since. It's a heady mix of plum, bergamot and lemon; tuberose, rose and jasmine absolutes with sultry sandalwood, patchouli and amber - it's utterly addictive and perfect for balmy summer nights (more likely found abroad right now). The whole online team animatedly asked what it was when I spritzed it on, I'm usually happy to share my scents, but I've taken this one home.
