Bare Escentuals, the creator of Bare Minerals, is 35 this year and to celebrate its birthday the brand is heading on 'holiday' with easyjet to offer passengers Bare Minerals 'Makeup in the Sky' makeovers on selected flights from London Gatwick to the Tenerife every Tuesday and Friday from today until the end of June.

The Bare Escentuals team took a group of beauty journalists to Marbella (reem!) this weekend to celebrate the launch and to try all the products in the range. One masterclass was enough to get me hooked on the products. We had the tutorial with European Make-up Artist for Bare Escentuals Sarah-Jane Froom, who showed us all how to 'Swirl, Tap and Buff' our way to flawless skin using the Get Started Kit, £38 (available on-board all easyjet flights). The kit has all the basics you need to 'get started' - Foundation with spf 15, All Over Face Color (a bronzer), Concealer with spf 20 and Mineral Veil Finishing Powder (which, amazingly, gives the complexion an airbrushed appearance), as well as three brushes.

If you're not jetting off to the sun this month, you can still give the products a try - the whole range, as well as the kits, is stocked on the Debenhams, House of Fraser and Selfridges websites.

Top tip: the Tinted Mineral Veil, £20, layered over the All Over Face Color (in the Get Started Kit) is great for faking a sunkissed glow.
