Neon pink nails are having a bit of a moment at ELLE HQ. The punchy shade seems to be the colour du jour for pedicures right now. In fact, on a recent press trip most beauty editors chose neon pink for their pedicures (which is a definite sign of a hot trend in the making). It's an easy way to get in on the brights trend without devoting wardrobe space, and looks fresher and cooler than traditional corals and reds right now.

My favourite neon pink has to be Essie Punchy Pink from its 2009 Neon collection, which was a fab shade but no longer available (Essie, if you’re reading this please bring it back). My top picks right now are Nail Girls in Pink #20, £10 (out May), which I've been wearing religiously since I discovered it, Pop in Pinkest, £6.50, and Barry M in Neon Pink, £3.99.
